The portal link
Every customer can have one private link. It opens in any browser and shows only their own work:
- Quotes — read, sign and accept, or decline.
- Invoices and payments — what is owed, what has been paid, and a button to pay the balance or a different amount.
- Work — how the job is going, with your photos, and a place to sign off that it is finished.
- Request a visit — so the next job starts from them rather than from a voicemail.
- Extra work — anything they have asked to be added, with the price you quoted and a yes-or-no button, so a hedge trim gets agreed to before anyone drives out.
- Before we arrive — when a visit needs them to do something first, what it is and a button to say it is done. If they cannot get to it, they can ask you to handle it instead.
The link is generated when you send a quote or an invoice, and stays good for 90 days. Anyone with the link can see that customer's records, which is the point — it is what lets an eighty-year-old pay a bill without a password — so treat it the way you would treat their invoice.
Letting customers book themselves in
Settings → Online booking & hours
Set your open hours once, mark the days you are closed, and choose how long a slot runs, how much gap you want between jobs, how far ahead someone may book, and how much notice you need. Corvin only offers slots that satisfy all of it, so you cannot be booked into Christmas Day or into twenty minutes' time.
Your booking page is
app.runcorvin.com/book/your-shop. Put it on your
website, in your email signature, and on the van. Requests land in
Appointment requests rather than straight onto the
board, so nothing is scheduled without you.
Selling things: Corvin Show
Show → Store settings
If you sell parts, assemblies or whole machines as well as your
time, Show gives you a storefront at
app.runcorvin.com/s/your-shop with your logo, your colour
and your own welcome. Paste
/embed/show/your-shop on a site you already run.
One organization can publish several slugs — one per company
website. You choose whether prices are public, or whether
visitors have to ask.
A visitor can pay for an order outright, or request a quote instead — which is what happens with anything configured, oversized or freighted. Both land in Show requests for someone to pick up. Taking payment needs Stripe connected first; quote requests do not.
If you also run Corvin for your shop floor, what you list is the same stock you plan and allocate against, so the storefront cannot sell what you have already committed to a job.
Which of these do I have?
The portal comes with Starter and above. Online booking comes with Team. Show comes with Shop, or can be added to a smaller plan.
