Corvin

PEDYN alternative

Parts, BOMs, purchasing, and light MRP for shops that also roll trucks — without living in Microsoft Access.

PEDYN P2000, modernized

PEDYN’s P2000 helped small manufacturers run item masters, inventory, BOMs, work orders, and purchasing on Access. That flexibility aged well — until multi-user Access, mobile field work, and cloud backups became the bottleneck. Corvin Stock is the path for shops that want PEDYN-class planning plus real field ops.

Corvin is not affiliated with PEDYN. “Alternative” means similar job to be done — not a claim of identical features or partnership.

Where Corvin maps

Aimed at fabricators and OEM-lite shops that build and service — not a full Epicor Kinetic clone on day one.

PEDYN-style need Corvin today Direction
Item master / inventory Parts catalog, locations, moves Stock hub
BOM / engineering BOM import, assembly BOMs Deeper multi-level BOM
Work / build orders Build orders + field jobs Shop floor depth
Purchasing / POs Purchase requests & POs Shortage → PO automation
MRP / shortages Inventory ATP Regenerative MRP later
Field service Core Corvin strength Beyond classic PEDYN

What Corvin adds over Access MRP

Dispatch and job timers in the field, client portal and estimates, Stripe invoicing, QuickBooks sync, and job margins — the pieces PEDYN never tried to be. If you need multi-plant APS and a full GL on day one, Epicor Kinetic (or similar) may still be the right class of tool. If you need PEDYN’s shop basics plus trucks and invoices, Corvin is the alternative.

Migrating from PEDYN?

We’re designing import paths from Access exports. Join early access and mention PEDYN — especially if you can share a sanitized table list for mapping.
